Baby Sydney Sculpt in Progess

Hello again to all my friends!  I think in my last blog I said I was thinking about painting on a big Cuddles sculpt.  Well I got the kit out and washed it and let it dry out so it is ready to go but then I picked up one of my favorite kits, the Sydney Pigott kit, and started painting on her while waiting for Cuddles to dry out.

I just love this kit!  This is my 2nd one to paint and I have a 3rd one that is actually #1 in the edition.  She will eventually be reborn for myself.  This one is being reborn to be sold and is ready for the rooting stages of the process.  Here are some pictures taken with flash photography after I got her painted.   To me she reminds me of a little white bunny in this outfit and hat.  Perhaps she will be a good Easter baby!  I have not yet quite decided what color hair she will have so be on the look out for the next surprise!

What have I been doing?

Hello fellow bloggers!  Sorry it has been a bit since I updated.  Since I started working part time outside the home it is a bit of a juggling act for time.

Let's see.....I did finish Noo Noo and she has gone to live in CA with her happy new Mommy.  Here are a couple of her finished pictures.

I also worked on a kit by Linda K. Smith called First Look Addison. My first impression of her kit was that she had a bit of an unhappy face.  However, once she was painted and put together with eyes and such she just came to life.  Her expression was very much like that of a baby just taking the world in for her first few hours.  She too has been adopted.  Here are a few of her photos as well.

I am not sure which kit I will be working on next.  I bought a Bountiful Baby Cuddles kit that makes a baby the size of a 9 month old and I may start on her next.

I also just adopted my own silicone baby.  This is my 2nd silicone adoption and I am hooked on these babies!  My first was an Angel sculpt by Angela Harris.  Now my second adoption is her brother, the Logan sculpt by Angela Harris.

Here is the Angel sculpt whom I have renamed Margie after my grandmother.

And here is baby Logan.
