A New Simply Baby™ for Extra Special People

This baby was donated to the local ESP group to be auctioned 

as a part of one of their fund raising events.

Baby is 20" long with slightly bent legs and weighs 3 lbs 15 oz.

Baby was created from a Bountiful Baby Aubrey kit sculpted by Denise Pratt.

This baby is what I call a Simply Baby™ "Plus"

which is a Simply Baby™ doll with a little extra detail.

Simply Baby™ reborns are my more affordable line dolls.

They are not quite as detail painted as my full reborn line

but they are realistically mottled and blushed,

  creases are shaded, lips and nails colored, subtle veins added,

and are given a nice body and lightly weighted.

  I do not weight the Simply Baby™ as heavily as a full reborn

so that they are not too heavy for the elderly.

  These babies are either left bald with a lovely mottled and veined head

or are given lightly painted hair.

Because I have given baby a magnetic pacifier,

this baby is not suitable for small children who may swallow things

or those with medical devices that may be affected by magnets.

  If you wish the have the magnets removed please message me immediately following the

close of the auction so I can remove it before sending baby out to you. 

  Baby has 3/4 vinyl arms and legs with a tan colored jointed Dumplins doe suede body.

I made the body to be rotund in belly so that this baby would be nice and huggable.

Head & limbs and are weighted with sealed glass micro beads and poly fill.

The body contains glass micro beads sealed in an all vinyl glove and poly fill.

Baby's complexion was created using several thin layers of

Genesis heat set paints for a permanent finish.

  It is sealed with a layer of Genesis mediums which gives the vinyl

a slightly textured feel.

Baby's skin tones are mottled like a newborn baby.

Baby has Genesis painted hair sealed with Gensis satin sealer.

She has Eyeco newborn dark blue eyes color #218.

Baby's nostrils are painted and satin glossed for realism.

I also gave baby a glossed mouth.

Baby has painted nail tips sealed with satin sealer.

Baby has a manufactured magnetic pacifier.
